MISSION TRIP 2026

Dates: July 18 – July 25
Location: Guatemala
Total Cost: $1,800



🛏️ Accommodations

  • Your team will stay in a Casa in Guatemala.

  • Bunk beds will be provided—men and women will sleep in separate houses.

  • Each home includes bathrooms and warm showers.




🍽️ Meals

  • Meals will be prepared by experienced, trained cooks who prioritize food safety.

  • Please note: You are visiting a third-world country with a local team providing daily meals.

  • Special dietary needs (e.g., vegan, vegetarian, allergies) must be noted on your application.




💧 Water

  • Purified drinking water will be available at your accommodations.

  • Bring a reusable water bottle to refill throughout the week—staying hydrated is essential in the Guatemalan heat.




🛠️ Building Project

We will build a home from the ground up, including:

  • Mixing and pouring concrete

  • Constructing walls, doors, and roof

  • Installing electrical systems


Packing list for the build includes:

  • Tool bag

  • Hammer

  • Work gloves

  • Safety glasses

  • Measuring tape

  • Construction pencil

  • Knee pads (optional)




✅ Requirements

  • Must be 15 years or older, or accompanied by a parent

  • valid passport is required

  • Attendance at mandatory team meetings is required




⚠️ Physical Requirements & Medical Exclusions

Conditions in Guatemala are hot (90–100°F), and work will be physically demanding. You must:

  • Be in good health

  • Be able to walk on uneven terrain

  • Tolerate heat for extended periods

  • Climb into and ride in pick-up trucks

  • Load/unload materials


For your safety, participation is not allowed if any of the following apply:

  • Autoimmune disease or history of heart surgery

  • Medication requiring refrigeration

  • Use of supplemental oxygen

  • Pregnancy

  • Diabetes not well-managed in heat

  • Lupus

  • Heart valve replacement

  • Organ transplant


These conditions may put your health at serious risk. We appreciate your understanding.




💉 Vaccinations & Medical Prep

  • current tetanus vaccination is strongly recommended.

  • Discuss malaria prevention and other recommended vaccinations with your doctor.

  • Always consult your primary care provider regarding your travel health needs.




🎁 Donations (Optional)

You may be invited to bring small gifts for children in Guatemala (e.g., toys, stickers, balls, candy).

  • Note: This is optional and at your own expense.




💰 Payment Schedule

  • $600 Deposit – Due upon application approval (non-refundable & non-transferable)

  • $300 – March 1, 2026

  • $300 – April 1, 2026

  • $300 – May 1, 2026

  • $300 – June 1, 2026


Recurring payment plans are available.

💸 Additional Expenses

We recommend bringing $200–$300 for food and souvenirs during travel.
